Wildflower Garden stamps by Hero Arts

These are some cards I made using the Hero Arts Wildflower Garden stamp set. Hero Arts is one of my all time favorite companies. I love their stamps, they seem timeless or it is that everything old becomes new again.

Lively Scrapbbok Layout

This is a layout I did today with Lively by Authentique. These photos were taken several years ago but since I had a pink shirt on and it coordinated with the paper I decided to use them. I normally print my photos in black and white but I had these left over from before I converted to black and white. This layout will be on display at Scrappin' Time. I scraplifted this from the current issue of Scrapbooks, etc. I changed it up a bit. Its funny, the magazine says you can complete this layout in 20 minutes, 2 hours later I am finished. My scrapbooking has always taken a back seat to card making but I am trying to expand my horizons.

Lively by AUTHENTIQUE

Can you tell I love Authentique Papers??? These are some cards from the Lively line. I gave a sneek peek in an earlier post.  The woodgrain stamp is from Kaisesr craft, of course the butterfly is Martha Stewart, leaf die is from Sizzix. The green patterned paper "backdrop" is also by Authentique. Stamps are by Tim Holtz.

I am a huge fan of Authentique, hopefully I can come up some great cards. Here is a picture of the new line.Do not think it is availabe in stores yet.

Finally an update....

I have woefully neglected my blog.... have had no desire to stamp or scrap. My hobby room has had few visits over the last few months. Life has really gotten in the way of my hobby. I finally realized I needed my craft. I had a stressful few days at work and on a day off I ventured into my hobby room and created a few cards. I felt so relaxed and my mind was freed. The stress was lifted, I was once again able to enjoy the hobby I so dearly love. I made several cards featuring the Glory line from Authentique Paper. I love their papers and stickers. On the Authentique blog they had several samples so I started my cards based on the samples. I made a total of seven cards, three of them very similar to the cards posted on the blog and 4 of my own designs. This time of year, red, white, blue, stars and stripes are so appropriate.
